Spring 2026 opens under the sign of hope and movement. While the echoes of the Turin symposium still resonate, we carry within us this urgent call from Pope Leo XIV: to be the “warmth” and the “flavour” of a world that thirsts for authentic and bridge-building connections.
From the strategic reflection undertaken in Monaco to the paths of Slovenia that will soon welcome our chaplains, a single intuition guides us: brotherhood is not a concept, it is a path to be walked together. Whether through interreligious dialogue or spiritual accompaniment, every step we take aims to build these “new living conditions” for today’s youth.
The ICCS-EM is committed to ensuring that every Scout and Guide becomes a peacemaker, proud of their heritage and open to the world.
Youth in Dialogue: Brotherhood as a Bond of Peace
“Let us work together, for volunteering to political commitment, to build new living conditions for all.” Pope Leo XIV
Pope Leo XIV ‘s vibrant call, inviting young people to bring to the world the “warmth” and “flavour” of brotherhood, a major symposium was held in Turin from March 6th to 8th, 2026.
This event, organised by the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue and the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, prepares the way for the World Youth Day in Seoul 2027. We have delegated a representative to carry the voice of Catholic scouting and exchange with young people from all over Europe (18-30 years old).
