On 1 November 2025, in the city of Willemstad, Curaçao, the Inter-American Committee of the International Catholic Conference of Scouting – Inter-American Region (CICE–IA), in exercise of its statutory powers and in compliance with the provisions of the Regulations for the Awarding of the Inter-American Scout Distinction “Francisco: Witnesses of Hope‘ as an honorary recognition that exalts the life and work of individuals, communities, or institutions that, through their testimony, reflect the principles of hope, service, fraternity, and care for our Common Home, in accordance with the Encyclical Laudato Si’ and Pope Francis’ call to ’go out to the peripheries.” This distinction is awarded to:
