July 12th the ICCS World Council voted and approved the new fees system for the ICCS  member Organizations.
The keys assumption to generate the new system was the foolowing:
– Minimum fees have been set to account for a basic contribution which every member needs to commit.
– Maximum fees have been set to limit the level of dependency of ICCS on any single country or small group of countries.
– Membership numbers (Catholics) are either reported by Member Organisations (if Catholic) or estimated based on data from WOSM and the Holy See: Estimated Members = NSO members ×% of catholics
– Annual increase of fees capped to a maximum rate.
Country income categories as defined by WOSM have been reviewed:
– Update the latest available information on the international databases.
– Break the 4 income categories A, B, C, D, into subcategories, which can better incorporate large income discrepancies between countries in the same WOSM category.
– After determining the subcategory for a given member organization and the estimated number of catholic members, fee is obtained from an interval category designed for capturing the income category and the number of catholic members in that Member Organization.
– Fees are no longer based on a per capita rate, but are now a total fee which enables growth to a certain level (income and number of members) without a direct impact on fees.
– Annual decrease of fees capped to a maximum rate of 12,5%
The new fees system will take effect starting in 2026
