We are pleased to announce that the Leaven in the Dough – Driving Social Change Through Scouting project has received over 30 applications from ICCS member organizations. The variety of cultural, geographic and ecclesial contexts represented reflects the relevance of the project and the shared desire to strengthen the spiritual and social dimension of Catholic Scouting.

The project team is now carefully reviewing all applications. Once this evaluation is complete, we will contact the selected associations directly to begin the next steps of the process.

As part of this next phase, we will propose a Memorandum of Understanding to each selected association. This document will define the mutual commitments of both ICCS and the association within the framework of the project. It will be discussed and signed during the month of July.

In September, we will hold an online session with all selected participants. This will serve as an opportunity for the group to meet one another, to build a common ground, and most importantly, to help each association prepare for the in-person seminar (15–20 November, in Rome) by reflecting on the concrete needs and challenges of their local context.

We thank all the associations who applied and congratulate those preparing to embark on this exciting journey of formation, leadership, and Gospel-rooted social transformation.

Together, we are leaven in the dough!
