The International Catholic Conference of Scouting (ICCS) visited the Sisters of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem, helping them repaint the rooms of the congregation’s former children’s home.
The ICCS team spent the day repainting the walls, giving the tired rooms a fresh look and restoring the warmth that once defined them. What might have seemed like a simple coat of paint quickly became a gesture of gratitude, remembrance, and hope.
The sisters expressed their gratitude for the help, showing their joy and appreciation. This collaboration reflects the deeper mission of scouting and guiding in the Catholic tradition: service, solidarity, and community. By supporting the sisters through this transition, the ICCS offered much more than fresh paint — it offered presence, energy, and a shared vision for the future.
