What is the Project About? “Leaven in the Dough” is an innovative initiative aimed at transforming Scouting education by incorporating spiritual and religious dimensions. This project seeks to foster positive social change in our communities by equipping leaders and young scouts with the knowledge and skills to integrate spirituality and religion into their Scouting activities.

Training Highlights: Participants will receive comprehensive training covering topics such as:
- Understanding Humanity
- Youth-Led Spiritual Development
- Synodal Conversations
- Safety and Safeguarding
- Living the Gospel & Changing the world
- Advocacy Skills
- Project Management
Who Can Participate? This project is open to ICCS member associations. Each association should select three participants: a member of the national leadership team, a young scout leader, and a chaplain or spiritual guide.
How to Apply: The application process consists of two phases:
1. Phase 1 (by May 15): Express your interest by filling out the online application form.
2. Phase 2 (by June 15): Submit the application form, including a motivation letter and profiles of the three chosen participants.
Training Phases:
- In-Person Seminar: Rome, November 15-20, 2025.
- Online Training: December 2025 – February 2026.
Project Implementation: Each association will design, develop, and implement a project tailored to its needs, with support from the Project Team, until July 2027.
