Having an aim to unite all existing Catholic Scout Groups and scouts through liturgy and services, the Scout Association of Macau (AEM) gathered about 200 cubs, scouts, and leaders on 22nd February, attended the Mass for Catholic School Scout Groups at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady in Macau.

This day marks the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter, Apostle on Roman Liturgical Calendar, and the Founder’s Day of Scout Movement. Through the Mass, Catholic Scouts may strengthen their faith, to learn the service spirit from Baden Powell.  A small card about the Venerable Fr. Jacques Sevin, founder of Catholic Scouting was presented to all participants, to fulfill the mission of following the Gospel and serving others as Catholic scouts.

The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Cyril Jerome Law Jr., the chaplain of the Catholic Scout Committee of the Scout Association of Macau. Participants included members of the Catholic Scout Committee, leaders from the Catholic Division of the Religious Affairs Department, as well as cubs, scouts, and leaders from the 15th, 35th, 36th and 39th Macau Scout Group.
