Association des Scouts et Guides du Mali

Training workshop on Pacific cohabitation between scouts and guides of different religions (Christians and Muslims) on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Djoliba Center, Bamako-Mali.
It was an interfaith dialogue between Catholics and Muslims. We shared our religious experiences on 5 objectives:

* To recognize each other as believers in God
* Identify the fundamental values of both religions
* Propose attitudes to be developed in collaboration between practitioners of the two religions.
* Evoke attitudes to be avoided in collaboration between practitioners of the two religions.
* Draw out the strengths of the scouting movement in promoting living together beyond religious affiliation.

60 young participants divided into 3 groups to reflect on a 5-point questionnaire.

When the three groups presented their reports, the National Imam, the National Chaplain of the Scouts and Guides of Mali and Chief Organizer Éric DIAWARA delivered the substance of the 5 objectives.
