Leaven in the Dough: Driving Social Change Through Scouting
The “Leaven in the Dough” project builds on the text “The Place of Religions in Scouting – A Catholic Vision” and aims to help put into place the strategic priorities set at the last ICCS World Council. This initiative seeks to revitalize and strengthen the role of Scouting in a holistic youth education by integrating spiritual and religious dimensions.
Scout associations affiliated to the ICCS will play an essential role in this initiative. Each association will design and implement their own approach to address their specific needs. A detailed letter will soon be sent to the associations to explain the project and the application process. Interested associations must select a young scout leader (between 18 and 30), a chaplain or spiritual guide, and a chief scout of the association’s national management team.
