We are already in the third week of Advent. The theme of this week is Joy. Also, we are approaching a year of joy, a year for the Jubilee. We want to walk through this year of joy as pilgrims of hope. As we heard in today’s Gospel, John the Baptist preaches the Good News. Joy can be enjoyed alone, but it becomes more abundant when more people share it. That is why the kingdom of God is comparable to a banquet. We walk to God together through Scouting. We treasure so much joy. We can taste the feast of the kingdom of God on earth with companions in Scouting. Let us meditate on the fact that Scouts are those who share joy with others and transmit Christ through their lives.
