From 21 to 24 November, members of ICCS-CICS-EM gathered for a transformative event, strengthening Catholic Scouting at the European level. Hosted at the Centre d’activités de Jambville and Boran-sur-Oise, this seminar brought exciting developments for the Scout Method and laid the foundation for the future of scouting in faith and leadership.

A Spiritual Highlight

Participants had the incredible opportunity to pray at the grave of Father Jacques Sevin SJ, the founder of Catholic Scouting, and celebrate Mass using his ordination casula. This profound moment of connection with Father Sevin’s legacy reminded us of the values of faith, courage, and service.

Father Jacques Sevin’s Prayer

“Lord Jesus, teach us to be generous,
To serve You as You deserve,
To give without counting,
To fight without thinking of wounds,
To work without looking for rest,
Proceeding without expecting another reward,
With the conscience of doing Your holy will.”

The seminar provided a rich program focused on strengthening the spiritual and educational dimensions of Catholic Scouting.
