“JESUS, IN YOU I TRUST…”.
MEETING OF THE SCOUT PASTORAL COMMISSION OF CHILE.
Within the framework of the Priestly Ordination of brother scout Fabrizio Ferretti, the meeting of the National Commission of Catholic Scout Pastoral, of the Association “Guías y Scouts de Chile”, was held on November 11 and 12, in the town of Los Angeles, in the Bíobio Region.
During the meeting, coordinated by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Arturo Lazos, and accompanied by the National Chaplain, Father Héctor Gallardo, the participants worked and reflected on the situation of Catholic scouts in that country, the re-reading of their Mission Statement and some urgent actions to be taken.
In addition to those mentioned above, the brothers and sisters who make up this Pastoral Commission also participated: Patricio Hasbun, Claudia Quezada and Alex Rivera (from Santiago); Glena Betrán (Temuco); Javiera González and Fabrizio Ferretti (Los Angeles).
This meeting was attended by Jorge Larrañaga, Director of the Adult Scouting Area of the International Conference of Catholic Scouting (ICCS), Interamerican Region, who accompanied the meeting and offered collaboration for future actions, as well as called on the Chilean brothers and sisters to join the Region’s Three-Year Plan, led by Nicolás Nava, Regional President.
