Chers Amis,

Avec une profonde tristesse, je souhaiterai vous informer du décès de notre ami Emmanuel Lousberg qui fut Secrétaire Général de la Conférence Internationale Catholique du Scoutisme de 1969 à 1976 et qui présidait actuellement la Fondation Internationale Catholique du Scoutisme.

Après une longue maladie et pratiquant jusqu’à la fin sa "spiritualité de service", il nous a quitté le dimanche 28 mars dernier a Louvain-la-Neuve. Nous avons pu participer à une émouvante Eucharistie d’au revoir le mercredi 31 mars.

Nous nous unissons en prière pour son éternel repos à sa famille, à la Fédération des Scouts Catholiques de Belgique ainsi qu’à toute la famille de la Conférence Internationale Catholique du Scoutisme.

Manu, nous suivront ton exemple et nous continuerons à travailler au service du Scoutisme Catholique.

Dear Friends:

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the death of our friend Emmanuel LOUSBERG who was General secretary of the ICCS from 1969 to 1976 and was President of the Foundation for International Catholic Scouting until his death.

After a long illness, breavely borne and maintaining until the end his "spirituality of service", he died in Louvain-la-Neuve on March 28th. We were able to take part in an emotive funeral mass on March 31^st.

We join his family, the Federation of Catholics Scouts in Belgium and the entire ICCS in prayer for his eternal rest.

Manu, we will follow your example as we continue to work in the service of catholic Scouting.
