WHAT DOES ICCS?

Back
  • IT ORGANISES meetings, workshops and seminars, conducts research, drafts documents, offers cooperation, and coordinates regional and national initiatives: these are just some of the activities which ICCS proposes or performs directly in the field of education for young people and in the life of the Church. More specifically, it promotes and encourages the exchange of experiences between Catholic Scouts from different countries and continents offering quality leadership. ICCS also cooperates with other organisations belonging to the Scout Movement and the Guide Movement pursuing similar goals. ICCS maintains close relations with International Catholic Conference of Guiding.

  • MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS draw on the work by ICCS to improve and enhance their own educational projects.

  • ICCS DRAFTS documents and supplies them to educators, together with teaching aids for education in the faith. It takes part in the international activities of the Catholic Church (World Youth Day, forums, seminars, etc.) and of the Scout Movement (Conferences, Jamborees). The Conference publishes a quarterly magazine in French and English: Signes-Signs.
