Dear Friends in Scouting,

Great News! Our hosts for the 1st World Scout Interreligious Symposium, to

be held in Spain from 29 November to 2 December 2003, have received

additional funding for this event from their Government. Therefore we are

able to announce that the Host Organisation will be able to cover the

basic accommodation price for all participants of this event who register

before October 20. If registrations are received after this date, the

basic accommodation price will be covered for a limited number of

participants, on a first-come first-serve basis.

This offer covers the basic accommodation price at one of the three hotels

mentioned in the WSIS brochure. All personal expenses (including phone

calls, laundry and minibar) must be paid by the participants.

Please encourage your representatives to this event to send in their

registration forms as soon as possible. If you require assistance with

obtaining a Schengen Visa to enter Spain, please send your registration

form in immediately, and include a letter requesting a formal letter of

invitation, with all your personal details and details of your travel

plans for the event.
